The process is simple.
A. Download the bitCollect for Stripe App (Once Off)
B. Connect your Stripe Merchant Account (Once Off)
C. Create a Customer charge in USD and Stripe determines the equal amount in bitCoins and
generates the bitCoin address.
D. The Customer sends the bitCoin amount by using one of the following two functions available;
1) Scan QR Code containing bitCoin address.
Customer scans the QR Code containing the bitCoin address on the Stripe Merchants smart device
to complete payment (in person).
2) Email the bitCoin address to Customer.
The Stripe Merchant can send the Customer an email containing the bitCoin address and QR Code
to complete payment (in person or not)
E. Stripe picks up the bitCoin and converts it to your local currency, meaning you get paid in dollars and you avoid the hassle of the XBT/USD exchange rate.

bitCollect for Stripe charge a nominal fee of 1% per transaction (in your currency) i.e. $100 transaction = $1 dollar (in your local currency). This assists in maintenance and provision of new updates and features on the bitCollect for Stripe Application.

REFUNDING CUSTOMERS
Its easier than you think. Because bitCoin is a push only service, to refund a customer the Stripe Merchant will process a refund through their Stripe dashboard and the customer will receive an email from Stripe requesting their bitcoin address which the customer must submit to receive the refund. Sure its manual, but the process is easier than you think.
